Save a life

One of the bigger issues of home ownership is the responsibility, some people just don’t “get it”. Most people don’t know that in most places putting up a florida pool fence isn’t just about being proactive, it can be the law.

About two years ago in Jacksonville my children had to go through the unnecessary issues of one of the neighborhood kids passed away after someone wasn’t as proactive.  Consumer laws are in place to protect people, when society would otherwise take the casual route putting people at risk.

Summer’s months away, but if you’ve come to this post through a search ask yourself this…is it really worth it NOT to put one up?

I’m just sayin’.

Getting wet

One of the things I noticed locally is that it’s not easy getting polaris pool supplies from any vendor like it used to be…and that’s odd consider this is Florida.

Besides the issue of people not using the commode for a toilet like it’s meant, my biggest problem is chlorine and pH levels of water in any pool I visit. And with the amount of pollen in Northeast Florida, it’s unbearable when people have pools too large to cover and they don’t use those automatic pool cleaners that look like Roomba robots.

If you’re going to try and be socially accepted with your outdoor offerings, please…take of your possessions for your guests’ sakes. I wonder if medical issues due to negligence of pool owners is covered by homeowner issurance policies.
