Pretty water accessories

Friday, February 29th, 2008

A Hansgrohe faucet is pretty, no doubt about it. You get what you pay for. Sparkling water falling from the opening of the extended neck, loving towering over the sink it’s place on.

It’s truly a work of art.  Bringing elegance and class to an already staple area of the home able to be used for entertaining dinner guests prior do the meal.

Get one.  You’ll be glad you did.  Their sharp!

When good feet go bad

Saturday, February 23rd, 2008

Since my wife’s having problems involving her diabetes, we’ve taken a look at different things that can help her, from a pair of ‘diabetic shoes’ to the possibility of having a stair lift installed for the apartment.

Chances are the latter won’t be possible due to the building being older and we’re renting, but it’s an option for the future when we decide to purchase a home.

Diabetes isn’t the only disorder that products like these can help manage better. Anyone having mobility problems can receive more freedom of movement in a multifloor home they’d otherwise possibly ‘close off’ in their mind.

Get immune with some Astragalus

Sunday, February 17th, 2008

Astragalus…is a plant that helps your body. While you could do the research or take my word, you can also click on the link and see for yourself what it’s about.

My take on this plant:

1. It’s pretty. Not all good things from nature can say that. Some are downright buttmunchies. Astragalus…isn’t.
2. Astragalus isn’t Asparagus. It’s not parsnips, nor a rhutabega. It’s not a banana either, but a banana is known to be fun for some women in Las Vegas.
3. Astragalus…is a fun word to use on your kids, even if they have no interest in looking it up. “Hey, you…eat your Asparagus before I stuff some Astragalus up your nostril!”

My favorite:

Is that an Astragalus your straddlin’, Fracas, or are ya happy ta see me post about ya?

The human element of homelessness

Sunday, February 17th, 2008

More often than not I regularly see many not for profit agencies ‘overgrowing’ their staff, sometimes to the point of having an average ratio of 3:1 client:staff. When it takes 100 people to staff a facility that houses 300 residents, then there’s some kind of problem that needs close monitoring.

But it’s not something that people want to admit, so they ignore using a bpm tool, and continue to squander valuable dollars needlessly while thousands of others could have been helped…rather than employees which sometimes seems to be the real recipient of services from some agencies.

WinXP reinstallation without having to reactivate

Sunday, February 17th, 2008

Prior preparation while your computer is working normal:

1. Navigate through/to My Computer>C:\>Windows>System32

2. Find the ‘wpa.dbl‘ file. Copy it to a floppy disk, usb stick, or a CD.

Keep the file in a safe place.

When reinstalling a clean copy of Windows XP and it requests you to activate the operating system, DECLINE…and let the installation go through…which it will.

1. Restart the PC in safe mode.

2. Navigate through/to My Computer>C:\>Windows>System32

3. Rename the existing ‘wpa.dbl‘ file ‘wpa.dbloriginal‘.

4. Copy the file from your floppy/usb/CD you made prior to this folder.

5. Restart the computer.

Pure energy.

This tidbit of useful information brought to you by the words “home theater furniture“.

The fantasy of a life with Fracas

Sunday, February 10th, 2008

So many things in so few minutes in the dream of being with Fracas. Next stop a piece of heaven…Winter Park real estate…I’m sure Fracas would be happy to spring for the diggs.

We’ll be able to fish, hunt, and enjoy the sound of little pitter pattering feet along the streams and brooks our children will find in this airy place on earth.

Then there’s all the nooks and crannys for me and Fracas to explore on our own.

It get’s better as we get older, doesn’t it?

Wheeling Fracas around town in a wheelbarrow

Sunday, February 10th, 2008

Wouldn’t it be fun if we could all just take our old degenerate whiny women around the town in their personal wheelbarrow?

Personally, I think they’d have to be sedated…which would bring out the liberal women’s rights voters claiming I’m bashing…women. Or something. Really, I’m not. It’s no less a statement than what short short wearing self proclaimed lesbians do towards men…we just aren’t as vindictive in our belief system as they are when making statements.

Or is it lesbians just sound like they hate men, especially the ones that first say they do for whatever reasons they use to justify it.

Please ladies, don’t hate men. Instead invest your time and effort in some billet grilles for your ride. While you may not be able to improve your looks, you can always get better looks when you improve the look of your car.

You…learn to live with yourself.
