I remember before I was working and the family was receiving Medicaid medical benefits. We were grateful. But after you begin working, your choices are more limited it seems the more you make.

Currently at the time I have to spend $444.00 USD a month before Medicaid will cover anything. That’s each month. All over a $.50 an hour raise two months ago. It was more financially better for the family to be making less as I did a year ago.

With medigap you can look over other choices you may not have been aware of. Something I plan on doing shortly, just as soon as I put together enough pennies to get to the doctor for my meds this Tuesday afternoon.

‘My take’
Greenandmore.com shouldn’t be taken or considered as just a place new visitors would want to shop right off the bat. That’s not what they’re about. They’re about what’s ‘real’ and what’s not. Think of ‘Consumer Reports’ goes green.

Stories about the grandma that got involved with solar energy and impacted the entire county. Stories about companies products or services being dissected while they wait having to accept the reviews if their stuff’s worth the price to pocketbooks or the ecosystem. And that’s all good.

But what home owner and apartment dwellers will find the coolest on this site is the product that’s currently on their front page: the Kill-A-Watt Electricity Monitor. It’s a compact device that plugs into an electrical receptical (say that ten times fast) that you plug your appliance in. It measures the amount of juice being sucked out of your wallet, so you can either replace or get rid of unnecessary energy wastes.

Now here’s the catch with this baby in particular…something they don’t mention. You’re television, VCR, and even your computer…all of these that are plugged in but turned off are BURNING electricity constantly. With this product, you’ll get the hint to either buy a surge protector to kill circuits at one source or not.

Good products, good content, and a good addition for both myself and other people trying to save money and live greener.  Cool they can happen at the same time!
