.:Learning to play before playing to work
Sunday, May 18th, 2008Sometimes when we play we learn to work, after we put the toys away. Sometimes…we don’t ever put them away…or at least in our head.
I found the link above for a place over at Buy.com that was pretty cool. I never had a hobby horse, and it’s probably something a lot of geeks would want in their cubicle. Being able to reverse engineer a little old lady’s problem while rocking back and forth in their cowboy hat. Or maybe building something with a pile of Legos while finding the way to tell someone the virus they have is their own fault…not yours.
It’s a left brain, right brain world. Play while they whine, and you’ll do so much better on your call times, kids.
