Tired with creating his own graphics, the blogger resorted to hotlinking his blog to well known writers in an attempt to gain sucre from his readers.

Honestly, I’d never do that to Chris. The graphic’s a link to a post he mentioned me, mixed in the company of business blogs. The boy…needs…help. A while ago I caught up with Chris Cree of Success CREEations during one of the Open Mic Nights at Liz Straus’s Successful Blog…kind of chat room antics with a theme…without the chat room client…go over to Liz’s site and see for yourself if your lost already.

Enough already, I’m my own worst critic (aren’t we all, people?) and I’ve got to say I never saw it coming, thanks Chris…and I’m buying the coffee when you’re in Jacksonville next.

People who know me know my reputation. If I say I’m going to interview a candidate for public office in the nude; ME…them would be so boring; it’s what I’ll do…and get pictures of it.

If I say that Sherry Burns; CEO of the I.M. Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless; was half naked while serving me a slice of pie, she was!

Half her neck up, that is. She’s a very nice lady, don’t go there.

If…I say I kissed Eileen Briggs; former Director of Guest Services of the same location…in her own office…behind closed doors…then it’s a fact.

…don’t make me admit it, cause I’d have to unfortunately.

What this all comes down to is exactly what Chris mentioned in his entry. Putting guts into the entries on a blog. Recently I had a similiar discussion with my therapist…when I do something of interest to me, I don’t go all out.

Her words were “You go balls to the wall”. Honestly, she was a bit off. The wall is simply a metaphor, but if my balls were meant to be metaphorical they’d simply pass through the wall’s existance, while making a reality of their own. Of splintering into pieces the air itself on the other side of the barrier called a wall. Of making a sonic boom at the mere passing of the balls past innocent bystanders in the wake of their intended trajectory.

Sometimes planned, other times not, always fierce…mighty…not too big…not too small…but with the will power behind them to get the job done.

In the past I’d sometimes go down memory lane, retelling the tale of where my balls have been and the barriers they breached. As I’ve gotten older, I tend not to as much. Not that the balls have tired or lost their impact. It’s simply redundant and honestly unbelievable. I learned this lesson when I met my father and talked with him a number of times over the course of two years.

Maybe it was that he didn’t care where my balls had been, or what they’d accomplished. Maybe he had problems with his own balls breaking toothpicks. Maybe he only had balls he didn’t have as much faith in, as I do mine. Maybe he was ashamed at what his balls had been through…could have done…never tried to do.

Kind of makes me feel awkward now, relating what others may not want to hear…making them think of their own balls, or denying the thought of their own balls or mine. For that, I’m sorry.

That was your gratuitous 1% BS percentage for this blog entry.

It’s not what you’ve done, it’s not what you can do…it’s what you do today, plan for tomorrow, and dream for eternity.

The point of this entry. None other than running around the May pole since nobody else has blogged of it so far this month, that I’ve come across. Oh…almost forgot about Chris up at the top of this entry…

Chris Cree…go read his blog if you haven’t…which means you don’t know Chris…which means…well…what it means, I have no idea…but you should…read Chris’s blog.

Since nobody has probably ever connected Chris Cree and their balls in the same entry, this is probably a first for the internet…but will it be the last of it’s kind?

Even I gotta say “I sure hope so!”.
