Each year I come across many women who fall into ‘the pit’ when trying to figure out what to get a guy who’s a ‘wrench turner’. They’re not easy to shop for, since they’ve got their own personal ‘things’ their in to, especially if they already have specific brands body shop supplies their in to.

If a guy’s into welding; whether it’s stick, MIG, TIG, or even Aluminum welding; guys have a real bad habit of not wearing their protective eyewear. The key to making sure they do is to find one that’s both cool to be seen in as it is functional.

This one in particular pictured here is a welder’s mask with automatic sensors to protect their eyes. It let’s them ‘eyeball’ the work just prior to creating an arc, then darkens quickly to protect their vision.

The key here is for the user to adjust the lens to react accordingly…some guys want ‘Right NOW’ changes, while others can stand a second delay.

Don’t think your guy will read the instructions, ladies. When getting a new toy, make sure you; as the responsible adult; learn how to use the item correctly…then reinforce ‘junior’ he needs to do so likewise.

It’ll improve your relationship later…he’ll know he can’t BS you since you’ll know what he’s doin’!
