I am what I am…

Over the last year I’ve questioned and accounted for who I am; at least to myself, which is more important than to anyone else; over a number of different areas in my life. One area in particular I’ve recently gotten some closure and better perspective is on my becoming more of a journalist as time goes by. The key to both my travel on this path and journalism is one and the same, that being ‘The Truth’.

At the start in 2004 of this blog, I wasn’t interested in either ‘my path’ or my venture into online ‘journalism’. When looking back; as anyone would have to admit if they were totally honest with themselves; I’d never have considered ‘The Truth’ I’d later come to know.

I’m The Best Journalist I Can Be

My form, rhetoric, and prose are a unique means of communicating to others interests, research, and reflection on specific matters I feel need to be related. I don’t fall prey to rules of grammar and use a style that conveys ’speaking’ as if to the reader themselves. My English teacher from high school is long in the past, and since he’s not an avid reader of my site I’m free to throw whatever daggers at him behind his back once again while dreaming of New York City travel and living a Bohemian lifestyle.

He never liked it when I asked him to elaborate and describe what he was trying to illustrate to the class in his depictions lacking in imagination. When I asked him if the picture of a man’s hand like sausages should involve fingers of patties or links he actually turned red in front of the class.
