The most likely thing to fail in a computer

Besides the motherboard frying or blue sparks of death coming from the back of a computer tower, the most frequent issue I’ve had with computer failure comes down to hard drives needing to be replaced.

I remember years ago, many years ago, when they were really small and expensive. One recollection; if my memory doesn’t fail me; was one for 10 Meg that went for over $400. We’ve come a long way from platters spinning out of control that make really horrible sounds when the arms go SPLANK SPLANK enough to hear them.

Then again, I wonder with all the usage of flash drive architecture if some of those radio waves aren’t passing through my skull’s open spaces. I mean…I’ve got just four brain cells left…I have to protect them, don’t I?
